
Her appointment with acting happened by chance when Amol Palekar requested her to perform in his serial “Kacchi Dhoop” as the heroine who had been roped on board had deserted the serial unexpectedly. The serial did quite well and later on Bhagyashree had bagged characters in Honi Anhoni and Kisse Miya Biwi Ke.The diva is best acknowledged for her character that she played in the 1989 movie Maine Pyaar Kiya with actor Salman Khan.
