Sensational queen- Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukonee, born on 5th January 1986 in Mangalore, Karnataka is daughter of former badminton champion Prakash Padukonee and Ujjala Padukonee. She started her career as a scorching model and gradually swifted into Hindi as well as Tamil and Kannada language movies. She did played Badminton during her school days and at State level but did not chose it as career as her poised Beauty tilted her towards the Glamor world. Padukonee Started the journey by perusing career in modeling ,marked in a ramp competition in NLS, Bangalore. Next was the aupicious eve of fifth annual Kingfisher Fashion Awards where she was awarded the title "Model of the Year" followed by being chosen as one of the model for the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar for 2006.

Successfully she won two trophies at the Idea Zee Fashion Awards: "Female Model of the Year" and "Fresh Face of the Year”. Throwing light on her acting journey, her first debut was in Kannada film Aishwarya in 2006 followed by Hindi Super blockbuster 'Om Shanti Om' opposite to Shah Rukh Khan, the movie which revolutionize her whole career and because of which, she was honored with Filmfare Best Female Debut Award .Casting opposite to King Khan easily justifies her elegant beauty and talent both. on the way was Siddharth Anand's romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno opposite to Ranbir Kapoor where she played the role of independent young girl, Gaytri. Forster came big banner superhits like Chandni Chowk To China, Love Aaj Kal and Housefull. Former Model was also debuted in Himesh Reshmiya's album 'aap ka Suroor' where she looked stunning in black gown. Besides acting,She quickly endorsed premium brands like Liril soap, Limca, Close-Up toothpaste, Kingfisher Airlines ,Tissot, Nescafe and more including international cosmetics vogue Maybelline. The young dynamic model was conferred with lot many Awards for Modeling and acting styles.
