Mahi(Rimpi) Gill is Bollywood actress who intially began her acting career in Punjabi(regioanl) films but later debut in the Hindi Film Industry with the movie Dev D,a modern version of a classic called Dev Das written by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay.Mahi played the role of Paro,a love interest of Dev Das in the film.

Kalki Koechlin is an upcoming Bollywood actress who started her Bollywood career in Dev D opposite Abhay Deol ,an Anurag Kashyap venture.Her role in the movie as Chanda aka Chandra Mukhi was critically acclaimed.The movie itself was an adaptation of the legendary Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Devdas.

Kalki though born in India is of French descent.Her parents came to India 38 years ago and settled in a small village in Pondicherry. Kalki who studied in Ooty later on went to London to study drama in Goldsmiths,University of London after her parents insisted.The actress is fluent in Tamil,English and French.Kalki was also a part of a theater group called Theater of Relativity for two years.She showed her acting skills in various plays like “The Blue Room” by David Hare,”The Dispute” by Marivaux.

Kalki moved to Mumbai and worked in various commercials before being a part of a modern twist to the old Bengali Novel Devdas. She describes her character as someone who is more than just a prostitute stating that the character dresses up like a normal girl when she is not “working”.She was apprehensive as to how people will see her in the role but considered herself lucky since she got to work with a director like Anurag Kashyap.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat was born as Reema Lamba in Karnal, Haryana and adopted the screen name Mallika to avoid confusion with other actresses named Reema. Sherawat is her mother's maiden name. Mallika has studied Indian philosophy from Miranda House, Delhi University and was a part time air-hostess married to Jet Airways pilot Captain Karan Singh Gill .

She later on divorced him to pursue her Bollywood dreams.She did her debut with Lak Tunoo, a music video by Surjit Bindrakhia but it was her movie Khwahish that got heads turning. Then Mallika Sherawatdid the film Murder inspired by Hollywood's Unfaithful and received a nomination for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards.

Mallika Sherawat expresses her opinions firmly in public and is currently after Hollywood titles. Her stint with Hollywood began with a small role in Jackie Chan's movie, The Myth followed by a widely publicized appearance at the Cannes Film Festival to promote The Myth. However, 2007 movie Welcome was her last release at the box office.

Mallika would now be seen in a Hollywood film named Hisss starring Irrfan Khan and directed by Jennifer Lynch. Mallika is now staying in Los Angeles. Mallika Sherawat has been voted as one of Asia's 100 most beautiful people by the Hong Kong based fashion and beauty magazine, Cover.

Raima Sen


Raima Sen was born on 11 November 1979 and is the daughter of actress Moon Moon Sen and the granddaughter of legendary actress Suchitra Sen. Raima Sen comes from a royal family, her father Bharat Dev Varma is a member of the royal family of Tripura. She is also related to Ila Devi, the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi was the Maharani of Jaipur. She uses her grandmother's maiden name on screen, although her real surname is Dev Varma.

Godmother was Raima Sen's debut film, which was a critically acclaimed success but she only got to play a small role in it. Next was Daman as Raveena Tandon's daughter. But it was Rituparno Ghosh's film Chokher Bali that won her praise. However, it was Parineeta that established her has an actor. Since then she has had two more hits with the action thriller Dus and the Bengali film Antar Mahal. Recently, she appeared in the film The Bong Connection (co-starring Shayan Munshi). Raima Sen has signed several south Indian films lately. However, she is yet to deliver a real big hit as playing the lead role.

Anne Hathaway says, “I think I’ve got really weird features," "I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important."

Still, Anne Hathaway doesn't let her minor insecurities get her down. In fact, Anne Hathaway tells InStyle that at the end of the day, she is happy to be herself, just the way she is.

Amrita Singh was born on 9 February 1958. This Bollywood actress made her debut in the Bollywood industry in 1983 with Betaab. With this she came up with successful hits, like Sunny in (1984); Mard which was the biggest hit of that year, and Saaheb in (1985); Chameli Ki Shaadi, Naam, Khudgarz, and many more.

Amrita Singh made a successful pair in several movies not only with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt, but also with Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. As well as playing leading roles, Amrita Singh also played supporting negative roles in films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992) and Aaina (1993).

The actress also won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for the latter. Married to Saif Ali Khan, Amrita gave a break to her acting career after 1993.

The couple got separated in 2004 and Amrita Singh now lives with her two children. The actress made a came back to acting in 2002 with the film 23rd March 1931: Shaheed where she played the mother of Bhagat Singh, role played by Bobby Deol.

She then appeared on the STAR Plus television serial, Kavyanjali in 2005. Later that year she won acclaim for her performance in yet another negative role for the film Kalyug.

In 2007, Amrita played the role of the gangster Maya Dolas's mother, Ratnaprabha Dolas, in the Sanjay Gupta film Shootout at Lokhandwala, which was directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Amrita's last release was the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan where she appeared in the short story Poornmasi.

Dr. Aditi Gowitrikar, super model and Mrs. World (2001) was born on 21 May,1974 in a Marathi family. Aditi has done schooling from Mumbai and her MBBS at Grant Medical College in Mumbai. By profession Aditi is a doctor, but she participated in Gladrags Mrs. contest there she won the title of Mrs. India 2000 from there she went for Mrs. 2001 and again she won the title of Mrs. World 2001.From there Aditi get enter in modelling and film industry.
