Mahi Gill

Before making her debut in Bollywood, she started her career in Punjabi movies. The very famous name Mahi Gill played the lead role in Anurag Kashyap's highly acclaimed movie Dev D was born on 19th December 1975 in Chandigarh.


In the year 1998, the actress completed her Masters in theater from Punjab university, Chandigarh. Mahi Gill was seen in films like Hawayein (2003), Khushi Mil Gayee, Sirf Panch Din, Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath, Khoya Khoya Chand (2007) , Mitti Wajaan Maardi (2007) (Punjabi) , Chakk De Phatte (2008), (Punjabi) , Gulaal (2009) , Aagey Se Right (2009) and Paan Singh Tomar (2009) .

Mahi(Rimpi) Gill is Bollywood actress who intially began her acting career in Punjabi(regioanl) films but later debut in the Hindi Film Industry with the movie Dev D,a modern version of a classic called Dev Das written by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay.Mahi played the role of Paro,a love interest of Dev Das in the film.

Mahi Gill who belongs to Chandigarh was born on 27th November 1975 and has completed her Masters in theatre from Punjab University in 1988.She was first seen in Punjabi movie Havaayen and other movies along side theatre.

She was discovered by Anurag Kashyap,the director of Dev D at a party,who immediately finalized her for the role of Paro.Mahi's forthcoming films include Aage Se Right,a movie by UTV and Paan Singh Tomar with Irrfan Khan.
