Merle Oberon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Dark Angel in 1935. A traffic collision in the year 1937 caused facial injuries that could have ended her career, but the heroine soon followed this with her most renowned role, as "Cathy" in Wuthering Heights released in 1939. At the age of five she was featured as a lead in her first film, NBC's thriller titled ‘Trapped Beneath the Earth’ Camilla Belle began her acting career with a small role in the film production of the novel A Little Princess starring Liesel Matthews. Her first lead role was in Rip Girls in 2000, it was a Disney Channel original flick. Camilla Belle's next big release was playing the character of Kira Hollis in a Hollywood film Push, which was a sci-fi thriller that involved a group of super-powered youths, hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency.

Earlier, Panchi has worked on the MTV soap Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi and has also featured in advertisements. Panchi Bora is all set to make her apperance in a Bollywood film -It's My Life which is salted for release on 26th November 2010. In the movie as said she will be donning the role of the main lead's sister. On the other side, the actress also have a Telugu and Tamil film in her hand titled ‘Akashame Haddu’, which will be released on 8 December 2010 in both the versions.
Her second release in 2007 was also opposite co-star Emraan Hashmi. Geeta Basra played the character of Roma, a working woman who gets caught up in an extramarital affair. Merged into controveries, Geeta Basra also denied her relationship with Harbhajan, stating the reason that they were just good friends.
Sameera Reddy grabed the attention of Bollywood industry and was casted in a pivotal role in the 2002 Bollywood movie Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. In 2004, the actress was seen in Musafir.
