Highlights Season Has Officially Begun! Check Out Natalie Portman's Summery Ones

It's that time again. The weather is all hot and steamy and now hair everywhere is suddenly getting lighter, even Natalie Portman's.

Now, she's been sporting a shade on the lighter side of brown for awhile now, but last night at an event honoring Mike Nichols, she looked decidedly more golden and honey than she usually does:

But notice that she doesn't really have obvious streaks--the color has been painted on here in wide sections that disperse throughout her hair. That's the key to making highlights look a little more natural and modern.

Katy Perry Grammys video: I Kissed A Girl but I should have lip synced

Maybe it’s the audio quality on the embed, but although she looked great, Katy Perry at the Grammy’s didn’t sound so great.

One things for sure: she most definitely DIDN’T lip sync.

Katy Perry Fashion Cares Gala

Katy Perry and Dame Shirley Bassey performed at the annual Fashion Cares Gala in Canada, an event raising funds for the AIDS Committee of Toronto.

Cheeky Perry, the singer most noted for the single ‘I Kissed a Girl’, took the stage with a group of underwear-clad models, while classic artist Bassey was as usual all class.

As well as the gala and runway event with Katy Perry and Dame Shirley Bassey, Fashion Cares was also accompanied by an online auction.
