Dimple Kapadia is a Bollywood actress born on June 8,1957.She was popular in the Hindi film industry for her alluring looks and atypical roles.

Dimple,at a mere age of 16 was introduced by legendary Raj Kapoor in the movie Bobby opposite his son Rishi Kapoor in the year 1973.Dimple took a drastic step at a tender age when she married Superstar Rajesh Khanna and left the film industry to raise her two daughters Twinkle and Rinki Khanna.

With time,things went sour with the couple and they split eventually.Dimple made a comeback in Bollywood in the year 1985 in the film Saagar once again with first co star Rishi Kapoor.the intimate scenes with her co star in the movie was noticed more than the movie itself and attracted quite alot of controversy.But this didnt let her down and she continued to portray bold characters for instance her sex scene with Anil Kapoor in Jaanbaz.

Dimple won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her amazing performance in Rudaali released in the year 1993.Her role in Farhan Akhtar's Dil Chahta Hai as an alcoholic received much appreciation.The other recent films she appeared in were Being Cyrus and Luck By Chance.
